Bourekas Workshop

2/3/25

7:00 PM

Join women of the New Moon Circle in a hands on Workshop. Make Bourekas filled with potato and variety of Bourekas Basar (meat) as well as Israeli Salad and Techina. Led by Israeli homestyle chef, Elly of @Ellys_Kitchen.

Bourekas: are flaky, savory pastries popular in Sephardic Jewish and Israeli cuisine. Made with phyllo or puff pastry and filled with cheese, potato, spinach, or meat, serving as a snack, appetizer, or light meal. They are known for their rich fillings, crispy exterior, and versatile shapes, found widely in Middle Eastern markets and bakeries as a comforting, hand-held treat.
